Calculate grams of each essential oil in a blend based on total oil weight, usage rate, and top/middle/base note ratios.
A classic fragrance pyramid uses approximately 30% top notes (fresh, light), 50% middle notes (heart of the scent), and 20% base notes (deep, lingering). Adjust to your preference.
Most essential oils are used at 1-3% of total oil weight in cold process soap. Some (like citrus EOs) may require higher amounts as they can accelerate trace or diminish in the saponification process.
